In the Temple of BMW Motorcycles in Munich

By accident I got into a conversations with one of the engineers behind the air-cooled Boxer motors of BMW motorcycles, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_Motorrad#Airheads. The picture shows a quite current version of the Boxer.

Mr. Biechele was hired by the famous Josef Fritzenwenger who invented the K100 and K75, Flying Brick, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_Motorrad#K_series_straight_engines. Years ago I owned a beautiful red K1100RS the "child" of the Flying Brick. (But atm I am quite happy to drive a R1200R that is more fun in the the Alps and the narrow mountain streets of nearby Italy.)
