rmagic page in Streams seems to not allow to logon

Steps:
I visit https://unfediverse.com/rmagic. There I copy einer@digitalesparadies.de into the input field and press "Authentifizieren" (Authenticate).

Result
The login page shows.

Is this the expected outcome?

Showing the login box is apparently as designed the default behaviour - check admin/site:

In the example above, I filled 'pubstream' because I want to show the public stream instead.

Other than that, I will just repeat the comment from Mike on another thread:
Visit admin/site and look under 'Policies' for 'Public Stream'. There are a few related settings just beneath it.

This is how I configured mine to have it accessible to site members only - switch the setting "Allow anybody..." to "on" to make it accessible for anybody, and the pubstream should be the homepage loaded for a visitor (and for anyone on the internet).

As it's currently, it's accessible to site members only or to all of the internet - there's no in between.
I proposed to have a choice 'site members only', 'logged in users' (optionally a list of domains to trust), 'all of the internet' and Mike was not against that as long as the default would be 'site members only' - understandable since you may be held accountable for what is published in the public stream and you don't necessarily know or trust all people on the internet or other fediverse servers...
